Marilyn was a kind loving friend. I meet her many years ago while volunteering in a nursing home. We had visits every Sunday and would read devotions, talk about family and friends. We shared life together. Marilyn loved the people she encountered daily. Many of the staff at St Joseph's Center developed a relationship with Marilyn. She loved to participate in the activities of the center. We had wine and pie together during the holidays and beer & pizza for the Superbowl. Marilyn loved to sit outside any chance she got. She enjoyed the fish pond in the court yard. She also loved to watch football and Hallmark movies. The week before she went to meet Jesus, Marilyn was voted the resident of the month. The staff at St Joseph's said it was evident Marilyn had a strong faith. She will be missed. Save me a seat at the feet of Jesus Marilyn. I'll meet up with you later.
