Dignity 

 The identification, preparation, and care of the deceased is the single most important aspect to our license as funeral directors and as a funeral home.  Our licensed professional staff takes the utmost care of the deceased and our care and preparation center is clean and well maintained.  When a family chooses cremation, you can be assured your loved one never leaves our care as our cremations are done at our own on-site cremation center.

 In our desire to always live up to every one of our promises, we have truly raised the standards for excellence in funeral service. On October 19, 2015, Herman-Taylor Funeral Home was honored with the 2015 Pursuit of Excellence Award by the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) during its International Convention and Expo in Indianapolis, IN.  This is the second consecutive year we have earned this prestigious award given to less than 150 firms from around the world.  This recognition by our peers in funeral service places us among and elite group of funeral service professionals.  We have recently been informed that we will be receiving the 2016 Pursuit of Excellence Award as well.
