Obituary of Kathleen Berg

Kathleen Berg, age 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home.  Rev. Cheryl Davis will officiate.  Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetery. A time for visitation will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  

Kathleen was born April 3, 1926 in Wisconsin Rapids to Robert and Anna (Lewis) Berg.  She graduated from William & Mary in Williamsburg, VA. She went on to be a well-loved educator in the Wauwatosa School District for many years. Kathleen volunteered for the Riverview Hospital Auxiliary, by sharing her time and talents. She was a dedicated supporter of the Historical Pointe Basse Society. Kathleen valued her baby grand piano and was a gifted pianist.

Traveling the world was a passion of hers.  Her adventures included memorable trips to Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Paris, and the eastern United States.  Kathleen was a very social person, who liked to focus on the interesting people she encountered.

She leaves behind many friends that will dearly miss her and her gracious nature.  Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents.
