I worked with Kathy at Longfellow School in Wauwatosa. Her classroom was in the same hallway as mine when I started in 1972. She was always very supportive. Toward the end of her career, John Mathis and I worked directly with her. She was a bit worried about teaming up with two wise guys, but it worked out great, and I think that she had some of favorite years then. I also remember her doing a great job running the school bookstore. After she retired, we still exchanged Christmas cards/letters every year. I very much admire all the volunteer work she did. Rest In Peace.
