Obituary of Marjorie Marzofka

Marjorie J. Marzofka, 86, of Hobart, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, made her journey to heaven on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018.

She was born on Aug. 13, 1932, in Wausau, to the late Werner and Viola (Kratwell) Esser. On Sep. 27, 1952, she married her sweetheart Ronald Marzofka at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids.

Marg is survived by her daughters, Deb (Mike) Bentz and Diann (Dan) Enerson; grandchildren, Heather Marzofka, Matthew (Shannon Anderson and her son, Brennan Carter) Bentz, Nicholas (Shannon) Bentz and Mya Enerson; great-granddaughter, Aria Bentz; and brother-in-law, Marvin (Audrey) Marzofka.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; daughter, Sharon; son, Robert; mother-and-father-in-law; an infant brother; and brothers-and-sisters-in-law.

The memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 28, 2018, at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with Pastor Jonathan Petzold officiating. Burial will take place in Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
