Obituary of Eleanor R. Larson

Eleanor R. Larson, age 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away September 28, 2017 at Arborview Court in Wisconsin Rapids.

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids.  Fr. David Bruener will officiate.  Entombment will be at Forest Hill Mausoleum.  Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.

Eleanor was born March 9, 1925 in Mattoon, Wisconsin to Arvin and Eleanor (Butler) Weeks.  She married Edward Larson on January 27, 1951 in Tigerton, Wisconsin.  He passed away on March 15, 2001.

Eleanor was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.  She enjoyed living out in the country on the family farm.   Eleanor loved to garden; especially growing roses and glads.  She also enjoyed camping and traveling.

Eleanor is survived by three children: Michael (Maria) Larson, Wisconsin Rapids, Kathy Robinson, Waterloo, WI, and Dennis (Dawn) Larson, Wisconsin Rapids; seven grandchildren: Michael (Amanda) Larson, Nekoosa, Patrick Larson, Kelly, WY, Molly (Brian) Berg, Neenah, WI, Eric (Sherri) Robinson, Wisconsin Rapids, Jennifer (Adam) Schneider, Reeseville, WI, Joseph (Sarah) Larson, Milladore, WI, and Katie (Jacob) Johnson, Wisconsin Rapids; eleven great-grandchildren: Shylar Larson, Bella Berg, Liley and Riley Robinson, Ellee and Jaxson Schneider, Leah, Coy and Kaydence Johnson, and Jaden and Chason Larson; and one sister, Irene Maus, Tigerton, WI.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward, brothers: Ray, George, Earl, Clarence, Charles and Robert; sisters: Margaret Breese, Dorothy Schenck, Ruthie Maus, and Lou Bruener; and son-in-law, Dave Robinson.

The family would like to thank Amanda and Karla from Arborview Court and Josh from Heartland Hospice for the excellent care they provided for Eleanor.
