Obituary of Noël Kathryn (Germann) James

Noël Kathryn (Germann) James, 75, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on March 27, 2017 at her residence. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 P.M. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Father Jim Altman will officiate. Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. until time of services at the Church. Noël was born December 11, 1941 in Wisconsin Rapids, to Frank and Marjorie (Berard) Germann. She graduated from Regis High School in Eau Claire in 1959 and later graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 1963. Noël moved to Chicago where she worked as a Manager at the Social Security Department. She lived in Chicago for 20 years. She married John James on November 11, 1983. They moved back to Wisconsin Rapids, she was a very active member at Saint Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she was a Choir Director, CCD Coordinator, and Librarian at the school. She loved dancing and traveling with her husband. She had very fond memories of their honeymoon to Paris, France. One of her favorite things was the color purple. She is survived by brothers and sisters-in-law: Sue (John) Butler, Frank (Pam) Germann, Cynthia Germann, Barb (Fred) Zimmerman and Tom (Cheryl) Germann; nieces and nephews: Tammi, Bill, Teresa, Angel, Bambi, Shawn, Shana, Shaye, Bradley, Christopher, Jade, Thomas, and Kristen; daughter, Sunday Harrison; granddaughter, Bonnie C. Harrison-Janecek PHD; great-granddaughter, Mahala Inoey Harrison-Janecek; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-nieces and nephews.
