I am in shock. I just googled Noel because I hadn’t heard from her for so long. She was in our wedding party in 1969 and I had worked with her and John in social security in Chicago for three years. I am so sorry to hear of her death. She was a wonderful friend with a heart of gold. We lost touch because I was am army wife and we moved so many times. I last spoke with her in 2016! We exchanged Christmas cards and then list touch again. My sympathy to her brothers and sisters. Dennis and Lorelei Mikale.

I have many fond memories of visiting Noel and Daddy over the years, riding up on the train or driving from Chicago, visiting the Dells for the first time, seeing the sights of Wisconsin Rapids, visiting with family and friends, eating out at all their favorite restaurants, and shopping at Walmart and Shopko. I will miss Noel keeping me up-to-date on the events that turned out “really nice” because of the family, friends, and angels in their lives.

I have such fond memories of Noel....as a cousin, she was quite a bit older than I was growing up but I still have many fond memories of her. I recall her singing to me many times during my youth. Especially during the long drives to the cabin from Wis. Rapids. I also remember after going to a scary "Frankenstein" movie when I was 8 years old, I tried to sleep that night and was so frightened, I had to find someone to get in bed with so I woke up Noel, told her how afraid I was and she scooted over and let me snuggle next to her. She saved me from those "Monsters."
Noel was also one of the first relatives to call me after I lost my daughter Kelly. I will never forget her kindness and giving heart......
You are now with all those who went ahead of us and I will see you again some day.
RIP Noel

Please except my deepest sympathy with the passing of Noel.
I met John and Noel several years ago when I was an employee at Copps grocery store. What a lovely couple they were and such a joy to visit with as they shopped and stopped for a tasty sample of the product that I was offering.
I spoke with Noel this winter when I saw her once again at the grocery store, waiting for a ride after shopping. She remembered me - and we enjoyed another visit. I told her how I always enjoyed seeing John and her together - and how John would nearly always be singing and smiling as they strolled the isles - she thanked me for telling her how much I enjoyed their company and told me how much she missed him daily.
Now they are together again - smiling I'm sure!
Blessings to all of your family,
Karen Fowler

I am so sorry to hear this. Noel was my very first manager at Social Security in Chicago. I moved to Chicago from Michigan to work at Social Security. I was put in Noel's module when I completed my training. She was always very kind to me.

I was so sorry to hear about Noel's passing. It is not easy losing a sibling. I have many fond memories of Noel. I will always remember her sense of humor and love for her nieces and nephews. Family was so important to her. I remember how she could make you so frustrated one minute and have you laughing the next. Love the video! You are all in my thoughts during this difficult time.
