Frank was born August 30, 1938 to Frank and Regina (Dudzik) Stroik, Sr. in Stevens Point. He married Marge Hollstrom on June 14, 1958 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. They celebrated 58 years of marriage this past June.
Frank graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School in Stevens Point as a member of the Class of 1957. He worked at Vetter Manufacturing in Stevens Point, Haferman Builders, and retired from Georgia-Pacific after 33 years. Throughout the course of his life, Frank enjoyed the outdoors. He was an active softball player, until his knees began to give him some trouble, so he took up golf. His passion for golf would find him playing a round at the Ridges or Homestead Golf Courses. Frank was a fanatic of the Milwaukee Brewers. He enjoyed attending basketball games at our local high schools with his friends.
He had a talent for woodworking, building cabinets, and helping to remodel all of his daughters' homes. Frank loved to spend time with his family. The family has fond memories of the many vacations "Up North" in Tomahawk and St. Germaine. Frank and Marge spent the last 16 years, wintering in Florida, during the month of February.
Frank is survived by his wife, Marge; children: Sherry (Art) Gaetke of Wisconsin Rapids, Rhonda (Bob) Robers of Burlington, WI, and Lisa (Randy) Buss of Wisconsin Rapids; grandchildren: Jennifer (Ken) Erickson of Arlington Heights, IL, Jessica (Neil) Fabbri of Sacramento, CA, Jerod (Sara) Schultz of Fargo, ND, Jacob Shearier of Stevens Point, Justin Weber of San Jose, CA, and Jordan Schultz of Minneapolis, MN; great-grandchildren: Jaelyn Schultz, Bella Fabbri, and baby girl Erickson, due in December; siblings: Esther Petersen, Gary Stroik, Don Stroik, and Geri Guzman. He is further survived by a special young man, Adam Miner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Regina Stroik; and siblings: Elmer, Clarence, and Alice.
