I posted this for Len since he was unable to get it to work.
I share these very same fond memories. I also remember Grandma telling me, as a child, that the smoke coming out of the paper mills was actually clouds - that that is where clouds came from.
I love and miss you so much, Grandma! Hugs to you, Mom, and Grandpa!
Love,
Libby

We love you, Grandma!
You already are and surely will be truly missed by many.
Lord willing, one day we will be reunited once again and we will never have to tend to sickness or death again! How awesome is that, right? J
One of my fondest memories growing up as a child was Christmas time in Wisconsin. I remember it (over 40 years ago) as if it were yesterday. Packing up the snacks, finger foods and presents and heading around the corner to Grandma and Grandpa's home at 320 Edgewood Place on Christmas Eve, as the snow was falling and the crisp winter air was nipping at our faces. We then enjoyed many stories, good times and much laughter late into the evening. - I also remember the occasional sips of brandy-eggnog you would allow me to sneak as I got a little older. - Shhh…don't tell Mom. Hahaaa
Then, on Christmas Day, we would enjoy the annual festivity of opening gifts at one house and then the other. Grandpa (the true Patriarch of our family) would tell cute jokes and cut up with the kids as he methodically distributed the gifts among us. You would also tease him as he strategically removed the gift wrap from his presents with his pocket knife, taking great care to salvage the wrapping paper, bows and ribbons that were salvageable and encouraging others to do the same. Great times, indeed!
Another fond memory was swimming at Grandma and Grandpas on a hot summers day. Making the short journey from our house to yours on the dusty, beat down trail which connected our yard to yours. That special trail which lead between the chain linked fence which encompassed your back yard and the tall row of equally placed pine trees. It was like our own little secret trail just wide enough to squeeze through as a child. Our own special trail that always lead to great times at Grandma and Grandpa's house. J
Fond memories, indeed !
Please give Mom and Grandpa a big and endearing hug from each one of us.
Love,
Len, Sandra, Logan and Hailey

When working at Strawberry Lane I loved to visit with Midge and listen to her sense of humor. She really brought a smile to my face and I will truly miss her. Although I no longer work there I will never forget her wit and funny come backs. May she be able to play cribbage and go to the casinos up in heaven. I will miss you midge, Stacy Bloch.

May the family and friends of Midge be comforted by the promise that God " will swallow up death forever, and will wipe the tears from all faces.." (Isaiah 25:8) What a wonderful time to look forward to when we'll never have to experience losing those dear to us in death ever again!
