Obituary of Lois M Garrison

Lois Lois Marlene (Mueske) Garrison, age 69, of Litchfield, Connecticut, passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer at The House of the Dove in Marshfield. A celebration of Lois' life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Bethany Lutheran Church. Rev. Joyce Heintz will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service Saturday at the church. Lois was born on April 4, 1946 to Harold and Hildegard (Rotermund) Mueske in Marshfield, WI. Lois was an educator who continued her career with extensive training and degrees. Lois married Donald Garrison on September 20, 1969 in Orange, Texas; Donald passed away in September, 2015. Lois was affectionately known to her nieces and nephews as the book Aunt because she always sent them new books for holidays and birthdays. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Lois is survived by her sister Kristin (Wayne) Joosten of Rudolph, brothers: Paul (Patti) Mueske of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Ray (Josephine) Mueske of Berlin, WI, and Arthur Mueske of Adams, WI; her beloved nieces and nephews: Justin (Tahnee) Mueske, Nathan Mueske, Tara (Gregg) Farrell, Drew Mueske, Amanda Sleight, Megan Mueske, Shea (Kim) Mueske, Erik (Tracy) Joosten, Jana (Justin) Kissinger; grand-nieces and nephews: Breally and Cayden Kautzer, Adelia and Ethen Joosten, Hunter and Wilha Kissinger, Larkyn, Camdyn and Maddux Mueske, and Dane Mueske, Taylor, Kallysa and Macy Farrell; sister-in-law Cheryl Swearingen. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald and her parents.
