I have fond memories of Harold playing the organ at my parents house with his boogie~woogie into the wee small hours of the morning. Martinis were often involved and there was a lot of laughter and stories being told. We would go to their house and I would enjoy playing with their daughter Joel. My condolences and prayers go out to Joan and the family. He was a great man may Harold Rest in Peace! Kathleen Nimtz Rinaldo

Jim and I loved Harold very much, we will miss him tremendously. We wish that we could be there to give our regards to Joan, as I know that she is devastated in her loss. Regards to all his children and grandchildren and others that he cared for also. I am sorry we could not be there today to tell you all that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
We remember that game of high low at your home in Wisconsin Rapids. Also the cottage and Harold playing kick the can with us. Jim will miss talking to Harold on the phone, they always talked sports, and I am so glad that he got to talk to him on the 12th, he said he sounded so good then, so we were shocked by the news that he had passed. Our love is with the family always God Bless!

I worked for CW Transport for 11 years. I met an amazing group of people while working there. I remember Harold always had a smile and would say hello as you walked by his office if he could. We decided one year that it would be fun to be in the Discover Wisconsin Rapids Parade. So the employees made an awesome float,(took 1st place) and Harold didn't care what we did, but the one thing he insisted on was if we were throwing candy it could only be peanut butter kisses. We had cases of candy to throw. I also remember how involved he was with the United Way. I just came across a picture with Harold and a Road Runner cut out showing CW Transport had hit it's goal of donations. Harold was an amazing employer and will surely be missed by the community.

Harold was a wonderful man. He encouraged others to share their story with him upon meeting for the first time. I know he found conversation both interesting and encouraging. Our thoughts and prays to Joan and children; and his siblings for your loss. You had a loving husband, father and brother. Love, Sheree, Bob, Sarah & Cosette Motta

I worked for CW Transport for 13 years and always enjoyed my job. Harold was very kind to all of his employees....I felt like he tried to say Hi or acknowledge you when we passed in the hallway. The Christmas parties were sure fun too! He will be missed by many.

I have so many memories of Harold. He and Joanie were such a big part of my childhood and such wonderful friends of Mom and Dad. There are few people I have known in my life who lived life to the fullest like Harold did. He really was bigger than life and so very generous. Joan, Harold, Carol, Janet and Joel' and your families, my thoughts and prayers are with you. May your memories of Harold bring you comfort during your grief. "Uncle Heckles" will be sorely missed by me. Until we meet again....
