Obituary of Misty Lynn Flink

Misty Lynn Flink, age 41, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Monday, July 20, 2020 in Wisconsin Rapids. Misty was born on January 2, 1979 in Wisconsin Rapids to Michael and Vonny (Kopelke) Rucker. She graduated from Stevens Point Area High School as a member of the class of 1998. She attended MSTC to further her education. She was employed as a waitress for various restaurants in the Wisconsin Rapids area and Grazie’s in Stevens Point. She was proudest of her five children, her nieces, and nephews. Misty loved getting together for cookouts, going camping, and movie nights with her family and lived for her children. She had the best contagious laugh. Her love for animals was inspiring. Misty is survived by her children: Hannah, Michael, Kyel, Seth, and Dannie Czaikowski; her parents, Michael and Vonny Rucker; her siblings, Seth Furgason and Mindy Kopelke; her niece, Haylee Kopelke and numerous nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Jamie Czaikowski. She is preceded in death by her brother, Cori Flink; her grandma, Yvonne Pagel; her uncle, Glenn Kopelke; her great-grandparents, Glenn and Mildred Manley; her aunt, Peggy Marcoux; her family friend, Roger Bray; and her dog, Delgato. “Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional,” Misty. A private celebration of Misty’s life will take place at a later date. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
