Obituary of Glen M. Hodge

On the morning of Wednesday, July 8, 2020, God our heavenly Father, brought Glen M. Hodge, age 51, home. He had a beautiful soul. Glen had a fun, loving, and glowing personality. Services will be held on Friday, July 17, 2020 at 5:00 P.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Joe Bergeon will officiate. Visitation for family and friends will take place Friday, July 17, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Glen was born March 18, 1969 in Marshfield, WI to George and Olga (Hernandez) Hodge. He attended Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. He went on to earn his GED. Glen spent many years working as a truck loader and driving a forklift. Glen enjoyed grilling out, playing disk golf, riding his bike, working on cars, camping, playing pool, and spending time with his loved ones. He enjoyed eating popcorn, popsicles, and eggs and potatoes. Glen loved his flashlights, knives, and skulls. Glen is survived by his loving wife, Tonya; his children: Ariel (Shaylen) Haasl, Desiah Hodge, and Zachary Hodge; his mother, Olga Hope Hodge; his siblings: Debbie (Scott) Furgason, Karen Hodge, George (Babylou) Hodge, Dick (Tonya) Hodge, and Gary Hodge; his beautiful grandchildren: Addisyn, Jameson, and Pheonix. Glen is preceded in death by his father, George Hodge. For so long, our family has through hardships, struggles, and despair, however, Glen always managed to keep life flowing. He was always protective over those he loved. Glen was 51 years old and still knew how to live life to its fullest. He will always be “forever young.” Glen was loved by so many and brought joy to almost all he encountered. Funny, kind, caring, and helpful, he made the best out of any situation. We have so many memories of this man, if only he knew how much we all loved him. May you rest now father, may you be free from all your pain. We will forever cherish the time we had with you. We will miss you. We all love you and will always have you in our hearts. Fly high beautiful Angel. May we meet again. Rest in Peace, Rockabye Daddy for this isn’t farewell, one day we will meet again in the heavenly skies.
