Obituary of Debra Lynn Plawman

Debra L. Plawman, age 68, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Edenbrook of Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation for family and friends will take place on Friday, June 19, 2020 from 12:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to Tamarack’s Bar to celebrate Debra’s life after the visitation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net. Debra was born on June 7, 1952 to Edwin and Mary Ellen (Erickson) Zimmerman. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School. She worked for Schreiber Foods for many years. Debra was a fan of NASCAR, the Green Bay Packers, and the Milwaukee Brewers. She enjoyed playing Family Feud Trivia, going to the casino, shaking dice, and trying her luck at pull tabs. Debra greatly appreciated all of her friendships she had over the years at Tamarack’s. Most of all, she loved her family and cherished the time spent with them. Debra is loved and will be deeply missed. Debra is survived by her children: Brian Weeks, Brett (Crystal Pagel) Weeks, and Kenny Plawman; her grandchildren: Trystian Weeks, Danny Weeks, Hunter Weeks, Gabby Plawman, and Violet Plawman; her mother, Mary Ellen Zimmerman; her siblings: Darin (Jo) Zimmerman, Dani Zimmerman, Doug Zimmerman, Donna (John) Lacher, Delain Arnold, Diane (Sonny) Walker, Darla Fink, and Dawn (Tim) Wilcox; and her sister-in-law, Barb Zimmerman; she is further survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Debra is preceded in death by her brother, Dave Zimmerman; her brother-in-law, Craig Arnold; and her former husband, Herbert Plawman.
