Obituary of Lori Wobig

On Friday, May 22, 2020, Lori Ann (Wenzel) Wobig, loving wife and mother of four girls, passed away at the age of 53 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. A private family ceremony will be held to celebrate her life at a later date. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, is honored to be serving the family. Lori was born on May 5, 1967 in Elkhorn, WI to Emil and Dorothy (Schieve) Wenzel. She grew up working and playing in the family restaurant in Darien, WI, later becoming an excellent cook. Lori had four daughters: Angel, Danielle, Misti, and Mili and married her soulmate, Tim Wobig. Her favorite things to do were spending time with her family, playing with her animals, gardening, and just having a great time wherever she went. Lori was always either singing, dancing, laughing, or all three at once. Her sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh was like no other. Lori is survived by four daughters: Angel, Danielle, Misti, and Mili; her sister Lynn, and her grandchildren, Reece and Paisley. Lori was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Emil Wenzil, and her loving husband, Tim. The family would like to thank all the amazing nurses and staff members at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids for taking such great care of Lori.
