Obituary of Barbara Ann Rzepiejewski

Barbara A. Rzepiejewski, age 75, of Stevens Point, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, after a courageous battle with ALS. A Celebration of Life “campfire” will take place at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. This would have been Barbara’s 76th birthday. Family and friends are welcomed to gather and share loving memories beginning at 1:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Sherry, WI in the spring. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net. Barbara was born January 5, 1944 in Sherry, WI to Roy and Lauretta Harger. She married the love of her life, Al Rzepiejewski, on October 13, 1984. They were blessed with 35 wonderful years together. Barbara was multi-talented and held a wide variety of jobs over her lifetime. She found it especially rewarding to create wonderful memories for others, by sewing and mending, various dresses and outfits, for special occasions. Barbara enjoyed sitting around a campfire, after fishing on Solberg Lake in Phillips, WI, and relaxing with family and friends, sipping a nice cold drink. She was outgoing and had the ability to enter a room full of strangers and make a lot of friends. She is loved and will be deeply missed. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Al; her son, Ron (Vickie) Scipior; her siblings, Carol Bendickson and Al (Marti) Harger; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Russ Scipior and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Elaine Rzepiejewski and Ervin “Erv” Rzepiejewski.
