My deepest sympathies to the family of Leonna. She was a wonderful woman and I enjoted the time that we spent together at the Morrow Home. I would enjoy bringing her out to have her join in our Worship Services and Hymn Sings. I would extend my arm out for her to grab onto so we could walk together. She would grab my hand and smile and then as we walked together she would always give my arm a nice pat! And her SMILE! What a smile she always had for me.
I remember one time we were doing a Hymn sing out on the porch at BridgePath. I thought it would be a great idea to be out on the porch because it was a nice day, up in the high 70's. I took Leonna out there and she was not happy! It was too cold! So, on a beautiful sunny day Leonna was sitting there all wrapped up in a blanket. But she was singing!
I will truly miss Leonna! God Bless Her!
