I am so sorry to read about your loss of Ralph, losing a parent must be difficult. It sounds like he was a nice man. I cannot imagine the pain you must feel. It reminds me of what the Bible says at 1 Corinthians 15:26. It refers to death as an enemy, and that is what it feels like. That same verse also gives us hope, it says that death will be brought to nothing in the future. What a great promise for us!
The Bible gives hope for our loved ones that have passed, it promises a resurrection of the dead at Acts 24:15. Jesus himself spoke about this at John 5:28-29.
What a great way for the God of tender mercies to give us comfort! (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) I hope this will help you through this difficult time.
