Obituary of Jean A. Johnson

Jean A. Johnson, 61, died peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Our House Senior Living in Wisconsin Rapids following a courageous battle with breast cancer.

She was born May 29, 1956 in Wisconsin Rapids to Gene and Thea (Worlund) Fish.

Jean enjoyed garage saling and collecting antiques.  She was a dealer for many years at antique malls around Wisconsin.  She was also an avid gardener and nature lover who enjoyed country drives and visiting state parks with her family.

Jean is survived by her parents, Gene and Thea Fish, two daughters, Holly Smith and Casey Johnson, a brother Don (Juli) Kahoun, a sister Carol Flick, and two grandsons, Trent and Lennon.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kirschling and everyone at the Aspirus UW Cancer Center along with the staff at Our House Senior Living and Heartland Hospice for their kindness and excellent care.  Also a very special thank you to her good friend Alice Gehrt who brought so much happiness to her life.
