Obituary of Larry Jepsen

Larry G. Jepsen, 73, of Vesper, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017, at home.

He was born on July 24, 1944, in Wisconsin Rapids, to the late Lyngaard and Henrietta (TeKampe) Jepsen, and was a graduate of Lincoln High School. He served in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, and on Dec. 25, 1965, his marriage to Nancy Friday took place in Vesper. Nancy passed away on March 1, 2009.

Larry was a pulp tester at Domtar in Nekoosa for over 35 years before retiring. His interests included playing softball and pool, being outdoors and building machinery for logging.

Survivors include his daughter, Terri (Bruce) Hagemann of Greenville; son, Jeff (Ursula) of Hartford; son, Lance (Danette) of Milladore; daughter, Misty Jepsen of Edgar; son, Jeremy of Oshkosh; grandchildren, Hunter, Dalton and Logan Hagemann, Coda Jepsen, Lee and Ana Jepsen, Bailey Raab, Austin Pilkington, Liam Jepsen and Sophie Jepsen; brothers, Lonnie (Helen), Rodney and David (Mary); and sister, Martha (Steve) Fischer.

The memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. The Rev. Douglas Schalow will officiate. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
