I would like to share my heartfelt condolences on the passing of Dale. I served with Dale a brief time in the 410 SPS and would like to confirm something you already know. Dale was the kindest, humble and caring human one can ever know. I will miss his quirky and compassionate ways.
My memories of him will never fade.

I would like to extend my condolences to Dale's family. He was a very good man, always kind and considerate to those around him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or an encouraging word. May he soar free and spread his kindness!

I have a little in common with Dale.He had the nick name of (NUKES), I also came up in Wisconsin and went into the USAF in 1973. I started out in the 92 SPS at K.I.Sawyer AFB in MI. I went into different units and got out of the cops in 1980. Dale and I were close in Germany but didn't know until we ran into each other at Rose Lake . Just outside of Le Roy MI. In the yrs after I retired I was playing cards with my brothers and a friend. A guy came up and asked if he could get a jump as his truck wouldn't start. I said to my brothers and friend that I knew this guy. I said your name Dale and he said yes.. We haven't seen each other for about 20 yrs.
We had a beer and talked for a spell. As he was leaving he rolled the window down and said (OH I FORGOT TO TELL YOU THAT FROGGY CHEATS AT PLAYING CARDS)! It was too late as everyone says it now...Ha!
Dale was on a different flight when I was at K.I. A sister squadron in Germany with same operations...He also stated he was in missiles and I was just with the bombers.
Every year since I ran into Dale at Rose Lake we talked. He was looking forward to going to the reunion at K.I. this yr. He introduce me to his friends he called family Jack Burke from Le Roy.
Dale will be missed for sure.
