Obituary of Tara Lynn Banuelos

Tara Lynn Banuelos, age 32, of Green Bay, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 21, 2017.


Traditional Native American funeral services will be at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, July 24 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Jim Greendeer will officiate. Burial will be at White Cemetery in the Town of Seneca. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home.


Tara was born May 12, 1985 in Wisconsin Rapids to Lisa Banuelos. She graduated from River Cities High School in 2003.


She worked for Sullivan’s temp agency where she did cleaning for several years for many businesses.  Tara was a very quiet person who enjoyed teasing and picking on her sisters. She especially enjoyed spending time with her daughter laughing and chasing each other around the house. In Tara’s spare time you could find her on the couch watching her favorite soap, the Young and the Restless, or playing Mario and Donkey Kong. She also liked listening to music in her car while cruising around town and trying her luck at slots at the casino. Tara was known for her cooking and everyone liked her fry bread.  She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews.


Tara is survived by her mother Lisa Banuelos and daughter Jayla Banuelos; her Nanis: Barb Smith, Darlyn Banuelos, Sandra Banuelos, Lynette Banuelos, and Leanne Smith; sisters: Raena Rave, Myranda Smith, Karissa Smith, Tabitha Smith, and Alyssa Cisneros; brother, Francis Rave Jr.; Tegas: Kenny Smith, Paul Smith and Wayne Johnson; nieces and nephews: Jevon Rave, Jazlyn WhiteEagle, HarmonyStar Walker, Jesse Walker, Aiyanna Sanchez, Mariana Sanchez, Melody Boyd, Humberto Cisneros, Azrael Boyd, Armani Banuelos, Luciana Sanchez, Annalea Cisneros, Jayvion Williams, Jovonni Williams, Azul Banuelos and Daniel Sanchez Jr.  She is preceded in death by her great grandmother, grandmother, and uncles Randall Banuelos, and Garrett Banuelos.
