My wife Leigh and I were very sad to hear of the passing of Helen. We met her playing duplicate bridge in Wisconsin Rapids over two years ago. Helen impressed us as a very strong woman, unafraid of any adventure. We recently met her at a Walgreens a couple blocks from our house and were surprised to find out that she resided so close to us. In fact she lived so close to Walgreens that she could drive her scooter to the store, which is another example of her willingness to try new adventures. She will be missed.

We will truly miss Helen as we sew baby quilts for the Mission Hospital and many activities as she motored down the street in her scooter. I was one she invited in to share her many treasures.
We send our sympathy to the family.
