Obituary of Jessica J. Walrath
Jessica J. Walrath, age 33, of Rudolph, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at her home.
Life Celebration service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Pastor Nathan Byes will officiate. Jessica was born November 22, 1983 in Boulder, Colorado to Daniel and Barbara (Zemke) Rios.
Among Jessica’s interests and hobbies include watching and mentoring her children in competitive cheerleading at the Storm Gym in Stevens Point, grilling (affectionately known as the “Grill Master”), and numerous other creative and outdoor activities such as fishing, gardening, and refinishing furniture. Being an avid Packer fan, she enjoyed working concessions while raising money for cheerleading activities and organizations. Jessica had a tremendous caring heart for her home healthcare patients, also anything having to do with nature and animals.
Jessica is survived by her loving husband, James R.; children: Kaitlyn Small, James Daniel Walrath, and Edward Walrath; parents: Daniel and Barbara Rios; siblings: Jeremiah Rios, Nathanael Rios, and Maria (Jeremy) Resheske; brother-in-law, Jacob Walrath; sister-in-law, Jesse (Matt) Mann; mother and father in-law, Susan and Edward O’Shasky. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, many friends and her furry companions: Dinny, Dozer, and Baby. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Herbert Zemke; aunt, Darlene Carney; cousin, Jeremey Carney; grandparents: Gordon and Carol Irwin; cousin, Zachery Badker; and her special dog, Beauty.
