Obituary of Kathy M. Wolfe

Kathy M. Wolfe, age 75, went to spend eternity with her Lord on Saturday, March 25, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. Fr. Patric will officiate. Family and friends are invited to attend Kathy’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 from 4:00 - 7:00 P.M. at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids and visitation from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net. Kathy was born on August 5, 1941 in the town of Carson to Joseph and Genevieve (VandeLoop) Stelzer. She graduated from Assumption High School in 1959. Kathy married Larry Wolfe in 1960. The marriage ended in divorce. She was employed at Big Iron Equipment in Plover for many years. She loved camping and fishing with her family. Kathy excelled at knitting and crafts. She was an active member of the Assumption High School’s Class of 1959 Reunion Committee. Kathy was an avid Packers fan. She deeply loved her family and would help anyone in their time of need. Kathy is survived by her children: Brad Wolfe, Bryan (Jackie) Wolfe, Tammy (Robert Bautsch) Lee, and Troy Wolfe; grandchildren: Nicole Lee, Joshua Wolfe, and Emily Wolfe; great-grandchildren: twin girls, Sophia Lee and Adyson Lee; siblings: Jeanne Peterson, Judy (Rhody) Hoerter, Larry (Judy) Stelzer, Delores (Gary) Majkowski, Linda (Jerry) Bruesewitz, Michael (Patty) Stelzer, Jerry (Debbie) Stelzer, Joe (Camille) Stelzer, Terry (Diane) Stelzer, Mary Beth (Terry) Tomsyck, and Lori (Dave) Schlegel; sister-in-law, Kelli Stelzer; and countless nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David Stelzer; daughter-in-law, Michelle (Dee Dee) Wolfe; and brother-in-law, Douglas Peterson. A special thank you to all who supported Kathy as she lived all the days of her life. A very special thank you to her sister, Mary Beth, for all of her love and care in Kathy’s journey to meet her Savior. A special expression of gratitude goes out to Ministry Hospice.
