Obituary of Cynthia E. Langellier
Cynthia E. Langellier, age 67, of Stevens Point, passed away on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Crossroads of Crystal River in Waupaca.
Cyndy was born November 7, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois to Delton and Lorretta (King) Williams.
She worked as a customer service representative for Sunbeam Manufacturing in Illinois for many years.
Cyndy was a free spirit and an alternative thinker. She was always up for a joke and would be the one who would pull that good prank on you. Even though she was in a wheelchair for many years, Cyndy didn’t let that slow her down. She could often be seen popping wheelies in her wheelchair and riding rollercoasters at theme parks. Cyndy was truly a unique, one of a kind person with a big personality. She was equally comfortable spending quite time at the cottage in Michigan and roaming the busy streets of Chicago. She enjoyed books on tape and watching Sci-Fi, The Walking Dead and Ellen.
Cyndy is survived by three children: Matthew (Dawn) Langellier of Lake Villa, IL, Kena (Toni) Sucksdorff of Stevens Point, WI, and Tom (Maureen) Langellier of Mukwonago, WI; three grandsons: Cole, Cash and Grant Langellier; brother, James (Debbie) Williams of Novato, CA; sister, Mary (George) Vandenberg of Roswell, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Life Celebration in honor of Cyndy will take place at a later date. Herman-Taylor Life Celebration Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids is honored to be assisting the family.
