Obituary of Sandra A. Kraemer
Sandra A. Kraemer, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Strawberry Lane Nursing Home surrounded by her family.
A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held this spring. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Sandra was born December 24, 1943 to Harvey and Irene (Bours) Hausner in Milwaukee. She was united in marriage to Francis Kraemer on January 3, 1961 in Milwaukee.
Sandra was a very loving and caring person and was always there for others. She enjoyed taking care of others and was a caregiver her entire life. She was a talented seamstress and made several dresses and other clothes for her kids. She also enjoyed crocheting afghans, shopping and baking Russian tea cakes. Her favorite holidays were Christmas and Halloween because they had the best candy. Sandra had a special love for dark chocolate and enjoyed it whenever she had a chance. Her favorite candy was Russel Stover whipped cream eggs. Sandra was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed watching the games; especially her favorite player Clay Matthews. In her younger years, she enjoyed taking the kids to Brewer games and circuses. She also had fond memories of marching in the parades as a kid in Milwaukee.
Sandra is survived by her husband Francis, four children: Allen Kraemer of Appleton, Steven (Jennifer) Kraemer of Oceanside, CA, Sherry Kraemer of Wisconsin Rapids, Laura (Salvador) Raymundo of Escondio, CA, three siblings: Robert (Susan) Hausner of Milwaukee, WI, Patricia Baudo of Sauk City, WI, and Kathy (Paul) Riutta of Flordia; fourteen grandchildren: Jacob, Nick, Chava, Britni, Jesse, Kristina, Amanda, Dylan, Cody, Elena, Elijah and Noah, two step grandchildren: Jackson and Josh; and five great-grandchildren: Savannah, Aiden, Cheyenne, Evian and Quinn, two great-great-grandchildren: Vincent and Keria. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and her precious pug Patty.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Barb.
The family would like to thank the staff at Strawberry Lane for their excellent care and compassion that they gave Sandra during her stay.
