Dear Sharon & Jackie,
I am so very sorry to learn of the passing of your father. I am so very sorry that I was not able to attend the funeral service. I very much wanted to be there for myself, and to represent my father and mother. Illness and road conditions prevented me from coming to Wisc. Rapids today. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I admired your father for his service to his country, for his service to his community, and for his friendship with my father. May God comfort you and your family during this sad time. Please be grateful to God that he has blessed your lives with a father who was respected by so many. Peace be with you.
