Obituary of Scott Allen Metz
Scott Allen Metz was born to Duane Berg and Mary Haskins on July 19, 1969 at Saint Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI.
Bruce Allen Metz married Mary Haskins, Metz (Berg) in 1975 and adopted Scott, Jason, and Tammy and then we all resided in Rudolph, WI thereafter.
Scott had his daughter Hannah July 14, 2002. She was his world. He also adopted Jonathan and this made his life pretty complete. He cherished being a father and I've never seen anyone's heart melt as much as his when it came to his children. His niece and nephews stole his heart as well.
Scott had a tree business with his brother Jason and together there was no tree too big to take down. They worked as a team and always got the job done. Around 2006 tragically, Scott had fallen 30 feet out of a tree and we did not think he was going to make it. By God's grace, he made it through with many prayers, help, and love. Scott often helped his mother Mary with snow removal and lawn care. He was also was employed by the Laborer's Union.
Scott was a very generous person with a huge heart. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. He was also very protective of his family and friends. If Scott was around, you felt safe.
Scott was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. He loved playing football and softball with his family and friends.Scott loved to deer hunt and take his children fishing.
Scott Allen Metz passed on December 24, 2016 from undetermined causes. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, his dad Bruce Allen Metz, mother Mary Haskins, Metz (Berg), and his brother Jason Allen Metz.
