Obituary of Juan Y Maghilom

Juan Y. Maghilom, age 82, of Rudolph, WI, formerly of the Philippines, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at House of the Dove in Marshfield. Juan was born June 12, 1934 in the Philippines to Dimas and Angela Maghilom. He married Felicitas Abata on August 20, 1954 in the Philippines. He and Felicitas moved to Rudolph, Wisconsin in July 1998. While in the Philippines, Juan was employed as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. After moving to Wisconsin, Juan worked at Golden County Foods in Plover until his retirement. Juan enjoyed animals and raised goats and chickens. He was an avid fisherman. Juan loved working in building and construction and his homeland, the Philippines. He was a faithful member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Rudolph, Wisconsin. Juan is survived by his wife, Felicitas; children: Harry (Luz) Maghilom, Edenica Aborita, Henry Maghilom, Garry (Joy) Maghilom, and Jennyfel (Darwin) Cabeltis all of the Philippines, and Evelyn (Norbert) Schug of Rudolph, Wisconsin; 21 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, David Maghilom; and sister, Bebiana Sunugan. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Gerry, and four brothers. Services will be held at a later date in the Philippines. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, is assisting the family.
