Obituary of Maxwell Wipfli
Maxwell James Wipfli, 8, Wisconsin Rapids, was called home to Heaven on Friday, November 11, 2011 at Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids.
Max was born in Marshfield on July 1, 2003 to Sheri Wipfli and Jere Wipfli.
Max?s life would seem too short to many, but to those who knew him understood that quality of existence far exceeds quantity of time in which you live it.
Max had a great enthusiasm for creating inventions and an endless curiosity for how things worked. He spent many hours with his grandpa, John, tinkering around the workshop and enjoyed fishing with his father, Jere. Max was very passionate about life and it showed in his brilliant blue eyes. He was generous and compassionate beyond his years. Eight years was not enough time to share all the love he had in his heart.
Max is survived by his mother, Sheri (Tom Clasen) Wipfli; father, Jere (Kayla Sigler) Wipfli; brother, Jace Wipfli; step-sisters to be, Madeline, Anna and Clara Clasen; maternal grandparents, John and Debra Koch; paternal grandparents, Melody and Kenneth Kris of Brookfield and Mary Wipfli; maternal great-grandparents, Marjorie and John Rysciewicz and Dorothy Koch; paternal-great-grandmother, Margaret Heitman of Town of Rome; aunts and uncles, Elly (Brian) Pagelow, John A. (Jessica) Koch, Sean Wipfli, Laura (Jim) Wright, Maigan Wipfli and Cyndi Nelson; cousins, Ashleyn, Brooke, Connor, Johnathan, Brandon, Tessa and Emelie; and many more extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Wipfli; maternal great-grandfathers, Howard Koch and Ralph Sorenson; and paternal great-grandfather, Gerald Heitman.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM on Wedensday, November 16, 2011 at Saint Paul?s Lutheran Church (311 14th Avenue South, Wisconsin Rapids). Reverend Martin Baur will be officiating. Max will be cremated following the funeral service. Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 15th and again on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until the time of services at the church.
