Obituary of Jean Bean
Jean L. Bean, 74, of Wisconsin Rapids passed away Tuesday morning, March 26, 2013, at Ministry Saint Joseph?s Hospital in Marshfield.
Services will be at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, March 30th at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of services on Saturday at the funeral home.
Jean was born May 19, 1938 in Wisconsin Rapids to Walter and Genevieve (Duffy) Parmeter. She married David E. Bean on June 7, 1958 at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids.
Jean worked briefly at Riverview Manor and Riverview Hospital as well as The Section gift shop. She was as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jean was a terrific homemaker who loved preparing meals for her family. She enjoyed swimming and tending to her houseplants. She had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed snowmobiling and boating with family and friends. Jean and David loved to travel; spending many winters in Arizona and enjoying a few special trips to Florida.
Jean is survived by her husband, David E. Bean of Wisconsin Rapids; three children: Kevin Bean, Jennifer (Greg) Koback, and Brandon (Tina) Bean all of Wisconsin Rapids; ten grandchildren and step grandchildren: Casey Grosskreutz, Ryan Fuller, Spencer Bean, Joe Fuller, Olivia Bean, Alex Bean, Jason Bean, Sara (Josh) Muszynski, Casey (Autumn) Koback ,and Kyle (Alice) Koback ; one great-granddaughter, Addison and four step great-grandsons ,Payton, Hunter, Harley,and Carson; two sisters: Leann (Joe) Sanks and Janet Smullen (Bob Fox); and three brothers: Wally (Marlace) Parmeter, Larry (Judy) Parmeter, and Roger Parmeter. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Heather Bean.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Boys and Girls Club of the Wisconsin Rapids Area.
