So sorry to hear of Jean's passing. Jean was one of my best neighborhood friends growing up. Such a terrific person. We are also in AZ for the winter and just read this on the internet. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Sarah Yeager Bryan

Uncle Dave and family, we are so sorry for the passing of Aunt Jean. I have many fond memories of snowmobiling with Brandon, and spending the night. She always took such great care of us making hot chocolate and Knox Blocks. I also remember the many dinners at Wilburns with Beans and Schroeders. I miss those times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Dave and family, We were so pleased to spend time with Dave and Jean at our 55th Reunion last summer. Nattaya enjoyed being with Jean at the reunion dinner as well as the dinner at Darla's. Dave, she was a beautiful lady. May God Bless and Comfort you and your family.

Dave!I still treasure those days and years when Jean and I walked home for lunch and back to school: Jean was genuinely wholesome and creatively funny and exuded an ambiance which tickled her as much as it did me and the kids straggling along with us!Everyone who knew Jean knows what I mean!Jean was loved, cherished and appreciated by many, not the least of which is by me!

I will always remember Jean and the opportunities she provided for our families to come together in the spirit of celebrating friendship and family. Some of my fondest childhood memories derive from her back lawn, down by the water on the 4th of July. Or other times during Christmas as we set out cookies and milk for Santa before driving to Jean and Dave's in anticipation of a glorious meal, a warm fireplace, and the bubbling candle-shaped Christmas tree lights. Jean will always be a member of our family in my eyes and her laugh and invitation to "Come on in" will be both missed and honored in our household.
