I could never express how much of an impact Doug has had in my life and what a blessing it has been to be friends with him. Many of my fondest childhood memories include Doug and I still cannot believe he got me to like baseball and the Cubs, no less! I will miss him and my heart goes out to the Damrau family!

It was an honor, blessing, and a privilege to know Doug and for him to be part of my life. Though his body is no longer with us, his spirit certainly is. I will miss his smile, the sparkle in his eyes, his wit, and humor. What an awesome man he was.
