Dear Mike and family, I am so saddened to hear of Marianne's passing. My friend Bonnie Kucharski told me yesterday. She always had a bright smile, big heart and a great love for her whole family and for Jesus. I know everyone will miss her terribly, but remember that this is just a temporary place and you will be together again. God Bless you all and I will pray that Jesus will give you comfort in the time ahead.

October the 24th was an important date in the life of Marianne and I.It was on October 24th 1972, that she lured me into our first date with very little resistance. We would celebrated that date often, having as much or more meaning than our wedding anniversary. From that day on, in body or spirit, we were continually at each others side. I fell in love "that day", though it seems like yesterday, it has endured for fourty-one years. In 2008, October 24th Marianne was struggling in an intensive care unit following complications from one of the many emergency related procedures resulting from her initial heart surgery. On that day I offered her a poem "That Perfect Date" To this day when I hear the song "Nights in White Satin" (now offering a special meaning) or smell a perfume similar to "Loves Baby Soft-Lemon Scent" I'm immediately transported to that very special moment in time.I don't believe Marianne would mind that I share her poem with all of you with a revsion today, October 24th 2013 " My Goodbye", for now. "That Perfect Date" October the 24th, 1972, such a "Perfect Date" it could only have been fate.Filled with innocence, I held you so long. Filled with innocence, this just couldn't be wrong.Caressed by your love, deep in your warmth, my heart exposed, my future foretold.Lost in our solitude we drifted away; "Nights in White Satin" continued to play.Your eyes so bright they,"Lit up the Night", it was then that I fell for this "Latina Delight"October 24th etched so deep in my soul, with the essence of lemons as you made me feel whole. "Lemons of Love", "Baby" you stole my heart, where would this lead, I was ready to start. All this time, all these years, so many fears, so many tears. A family we made, a God we obeyed, two young hearts on a date, it just had to be fate.October 24th you captured my heart. October 24th, 2008"My Goodbye For Now"A twist of fate, we couldn't have known; you were a gift from heaven, but only on loan. All praise to you Lord, "I know that I know", that my sweet Marianne is now "Safely at Home"Marianne………………… "Because of your faith", during these tragedies faced; now with two of my deepest loves, to early were taken, my "Reverence for our Lord remains unshaken".A prayer we made, a promise proclaimed, "By His stripes we are healed", now this promise revealed. My precious Marianne, no more pain do you feel; a promise proclaimed, a promise you claimed......As you dance with the Angels in this new body and place, a gift from God, no more pain do you face…. From a "Little Home Church" you were "Saved by Grace", a family you changed and fully embraced.A "Catalyst of Faith" for generations to come, a mansion you earned in heaven above.A twist of our fate, but not of our faith; this miracle of our love story, now traveling (earthly) full circle; in love it was started and remained as we parted. Filled with innocence, I held you so long, filled with innocence a "Love still so strong". Caressed by your love, my gift from above; our last moments, my last night, with this"Latina Delight" Alone in our solitude, our price "He did pay", a life full of love...........………As you drifted away......................................A special love that we found, by only a few, in my heart you'll remain, It is so….so true; still here in my pain, as you are eternity bound; I miss you honey, a special love that we found.I'm missing you so…..you're so far above, while I'm still here immersed in that love.My beautiful wife, we made such a great life; I'll love you for ever and ever and ever…………….........…..Now I just wait.....................................................until that next "Perfect Date" See you in eternity sweetie!Michael & Marianne Revised October 24th, 2013Several weeks ago I asked Marianne if she thought that she would be feeling well enough to go to on a October 24th date and attend a concert at the Grand Theater in Wausau, featuring Matthew West. With out hesitation she jumped at the opportunity. Unsaid,

My closest, dearest friend...I will miss you so much. You taught me how to be a mommy, how to clean, sew, read my bible and how to live as a Christian woman. You were beautiful inside and out and I can't wait to see you again in heaven basking in His glory.

"A Legacy of Love"Our precious MarianneShe loved people, She loved life and She loved her Lord.A Legacy of Love and Devotion that she etched into the Webster/Torres families, as well as many others. Most of those family members are well aware that Marianne was the "catalyst of faith" in these two families going back 35 years that led most and then their children to their faith and love for our Lord.Mostly accomplished by her steadfast devotion and a shinning example. The impact on our families will remain for generations to come, already deeply entrenched in a third generation. Following the funeral we were left with so many cut flower arrangements. Our Grandchildren enlisted the help of their Grandma Nicki (Christianson), a volunteer at local nursing homes and a long time professional floral designer. Together following the funeral, they disassembled the large beautiful arrangements that many of you provided for the funeral. From those arrangements they made dozens of smaller individual arrangements that they then distributed to local nursing homes, touching the lives of many elderly that all to often go day by day unnoticed. They showed them that someone cares, brightened their day and offered prayer to those who were open to the gospel message. "A Legacy of Love" carries on............John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

The Lord called out to my big sister "Daughter, It's time to come home!" And just like a little kid wanting to stay out late. She didn't want to go...YET. But now in the arms of her loving father. She is safe and sound. She is smiling from ear to ear. She is laughing with that infectious laughter and showing off that cute little twitch she gets on her nose every time she blinks her eyes. I could go on and on about my big sister. But I will tell you this. Her and I spent many late nights talking about what it's going to be like to go home. She always spoke with excitement and enthusiasm. She always talked about the things we would do and the people we would see. I know it's way more than the both of us imagined. I will not tell my big sister goodbye. because in Christ, there are no goodbyes. The next time I see her. It will be "hello, I missed you." And there too I will be held in the loving arms of our father. Thank you father for your grace and mercy that is new to me everyday. Thank you for allowing me to have the time that I had with my big sister Marianne. And also for the time to come. The pain of missing her we will feel is temporary. So take heart child of the living God. Salvation is here.I Love You Big Sister.Ricky

Marianne was a very dear friend and sister in the Lord. She asked if there was any scripture that stated that Jesus will get the glory from that suffers. The answer is YES John 9.2. Her life was courageous. She lived and died for the Lord. Many crowns are awaiting for you to put at the Lord Jesus' feet. Not only those we know of but they will go on until Jesus comes back. We love you so much Marianne.

Marianne was such a special loving person, and touched everyone she met. She LOVED people so much. She will be missed by so many but especially so by her family, including church family, that she cherished so much. Many prayers and blessings to you all. Mike, Mandy/Doug, Mark and Melissa, and her family...still remember our fun trip to Lansing with her, Mandy/Doug, Lily and Anita. Her battle was fought well on this earth and we all know where she now reigns and is healed. My heart is with you all as you remember her and prepare your goodbyes here and now mark this as her heavenly birthday. Remember her strength in family, what she wanted for each of you, and hug each other close.

May you feel the love and comfort from a compassionate God who is the ultimate comforter. Love, Lydie
