To the Hanneman family,
I remember you dad so well and your mother. They were such friendly people and have many good memories of them from Immanuel Lutheran Church. My dad was a good friend of your dad. He said," Norb as the smartest boy in the whole school "
We would get a call from him almost every Sunday after church as he would be working on the financial records and need to know an envelope number for a check in the collection plate. He gave many years of service to the church. He will be missed.

Norb took great pains to welcome Barb and I to Rapids and to Immanuel. He will be missed--yet we know that he is now with His Lord and Savior. We pray that the Holy Spirit surround you with His love and comfort as your remember the good times and events of your life. We know Christ died and rose again for Norb--this gives us great confidence!! Dear Wendy, (my old Howe Elementary School friend), Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.I have such fond memories of your beloved mother being my scout leader, playing with Barbie dolls after school at your house, my family buying your old 2 door back Ford with a stick shift and your mom getting the blue Mustang,your little brother Randy "bugging" us when we were playing after school, eating hot lunch together in the cafeteria,etc. God bless you during this difficult time. Just know that your parents are rejoicing to see each other again, and that they are enjoying Gods' sweet embrace. Speaking from experience after being in the medical profession for decades, it is so difficult and different when it is family. God be with you.
