Hello Scott. My name is Joan Barton. My brother is Mark Ortscheid. I am very sorry for your loss. Connie was a wonderful sister in law. She had a heart of gold. She loved every holiday and made sure to send my kids a trinket and a card. They loved her too.
She is at peace with my dad who also loved Connie as a daughter in law. She will be missed.

I just saw the obituary and wanted to offer my heartfelt condolences. I had the pleasure of often visiting her at Dr. Carlson's office and I would have to say, she was my absolute favorite person in the medical industry. She was always so kind and always remembered me and the things that we talked about on previous visits. I'm so very sorry for your loss, I know she will be missed very much by a lot of people.

I met Connie in 1998 while I was having some health problems. She was such a comforting, reassuring person and was so helpful to me. I'm sure she wouldn't have remembered me, but I certainly remember her and am grateful for the kind assistance she gave me during a scary time in my life. I've never heard a single negative word spoken about her. She was a a wonderful person. Rest in peace, Connie.

Connie was a ray of sunshine in this world. Had an infectious smile and a kind word for everyone. She could alway cheer me up when I was down. Although I haven't worked with Connie in over 4 years I will always remember her fondly. She will be missed. My condolences to her husband, children, Mom Barb and all of the family and friends that will miss her.
