Obituary of Constance Steele
Constance Kae Steele, age 52, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the House of the Dove in Marshfield.
Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 4, 2014 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
Connie was born January 17, 1962 to Carl and Barbra (Wolf) Jagodzinski in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1980 and attended Mid-State Technical College to obtain her medical assistant certification. Connie married Scott Steele on September 21, 1991 in Arpin.
She worked as a medical assistant for Dr. Carlson at the Doctor's Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids for 20 years where she was known as "Carlson's Connie " and more recently at Riverview Family Clinic in Wisconsin Rapids.
Connie was a very loving and devoted mother and grandmother. She had an infectious smile that could light up the room. No matter what the situation was she could make you smile and forget your worries. She loved her animals. Connie liked to take road trips to discover new areas of Wisconsin and to go on new adventures with Scott. Connie enjoyed watching the seasons change and adored the colors of fall. She loved to take vacations to the North Shore to see the lighthouses. She enjoyed planting flowers and had a fondness for angels, wind chimes. She liked to bake. Connie will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Connie is survived by her loving husband Scott; mother Barbra Jagodzinski; two children: Troy (Lisa) Ortscheid of Wisconsin Rapids and Melody (Seth) Dupee of Arpin; two grandchildren: Jeff Ortscheid and Haley Goldberg; brother: Rick (Jill) Jagodzinski of Wisconsin Rapids; sister: Cheryl (Mike) Schymanski of Wisconsin Rapids; brother in-law: Bill Davis of Wisconsin Rapids; very special nieces and nephews: Sam, Nick and Cassie; her beloved fur babies: Nugget, Kevin and Whiskers.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister: Cindy Davis and her favorite aunt Bernice Busjahn
In lieu of flowers a memorial will be established at a later date.
