To: Craig, Brain and Scott Luedtke
I'm sorry to hear about your DAd. You have my sincere condolence.
Your Dad and I go a long way back and so do you three boys, and you were very young
boys at that time.
I first met jack aboard the USS Des Moines, as we were friends and shipmates for 2 1/2
years from 1953-1955. we were both storekeeper aboard the ship.
We took liberty together many times in Norfolk, Gitma Bay, Cuby and in the Mediterranean as we had many cruises together and a lot of good experiences
together.
Would you believe it, we went to a dance studio in Norfolk and took dancing lessons
and as I remember, your dad fell
