Obituary of Roger W. Sersch

Roger W. Sersch, age 56, of Nekoosa, passed away on December 3, 2015 at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids. Roger was born on August 26, 1959 to William and Virginia (Walker) Sersch in Wisconsin Rapids. He graduated from Lincoln High School. Roger worked at Grant Elementary School as a custodian. Roger married Shirley Dallman on November 21, 2001 in Wisconsin Rapids. Roger was a loving husband, son and friend. He enjoyed taking annual fishing trips to Hayward with his wife and father. Roger relished spending time with his wife and was very devoted to her happiness. He liked to spend time outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his spare time Roger enjoyed creating dream catchers and paracord jewelry. Roger is survived by his loving wife Shirley, his sister Becky (Donald) Larson of Vero Beach, FL and her son Donald "Buddy" Larson; step-sons: Wade Pederson and his children Griffith, Layla and Torey and Daniel Pederson; aunts: Della Walker, Jean Walker, and Jean Sersch, Edna Sersch; as well as many cousins and friends and his beloved dogs Meme and Mickey. He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents; uncles: Alan Walker, Kenneth Walker, LaVern Walker, Art Sersch, Ray Sersch, John Sersch and Fred Sersch, and Donald Schwantes, and aunts: Lois Walker and Lila Schwantes, Dorothy Sersch, and Mrs. Fred (Jean) Sersch. Private family services will be held at a later date.
