Obituary of Carl A. Berg

Carl A. Berg, age 85, of Hancock, WI, formerly of Racine, died Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Wisconsin Rapids. Carl was born July 2, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Carl and Grace (Falk) Berg. Previously married to Clarice Becker; they had two children; Blaine and Renee. Carl worked for Johnson Outboard in Waukegan, IL as a Metal Polisher. Carl enjoyed working with his hands; woodworking, gardening or just "tinkering". He also had a soft spot for animals. Carl is survived by his children: Blaine Berg (Sandy Klonecki) of Lacrosse and Renee (Philippe) Bisson of Racine; grandchildren: Alan (fiancé Julie) Adams and Jamie (Joe) Abeln and great-grandchild Alan, and other friends and family. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Janis and his ex-wife Clarice. Memorial visitation will be held Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Olympia Brown UU Church, 625 College Ave in Racine, WI from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. with a service at 4:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to the diabetes foundation.
