Obituary of Elizabeth Crow
Elizabeth Crow, age 74, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Services will be at 12:00 PM on Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Chakh-hah-Chee Community Building in Nekoosa followed by a luncheon. Charles Smith Sr. will officiate. Burial will be at Dexterville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the community center. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family
Elizabeth was born on October 24, 1941 to Edwin and Mary (Goober) Allison in Nekoosa. She married Leroy Crow on May 13, 1946 at First English Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids; they were blessed with 69 years of marriage. Elizabeth was employed as a cook and dishwasher for the Tribal Aging Unit.
Elizabeth was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was loved by everyone who knew her. Her favorite pastime was spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids. She was an excellent cook and baker. Elizabeth liked to read, go shopping and take rides with her husband Leroy.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband Leroy Crow; children: Dawn (Richard) Lopez, Bernard Crow, Joe (Mari) Crow, Merlin Crow; grandchildren: Elizabeth (George) Crow, Mary (Mike) Lopez, Lori (Jesse) Lopez, Richard Lopez the third, Matthew Lopez, Shandelle, Joe Crow Jr., Mitchell Crown, CHristine (Mitchell) Smith, Alex (Brenda) Crow, Curtis Crow, Maressa Sackatook, Evelyn Tepiew; great-grandchildren: Jesse Montoya, Breanna Dampier, Cruzito Montoya, Kira Dampier, Shauna, Sylence, Carla, Nihzhonie, Sunny, Eli, Violet, Carenza, Auriya, Juanito, Emily, Nevaeh, Sophia, Evan, Jasmin, Alex; siblings: Jack, Scott, Richard, Allison and her furry baby Daisy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Leroy "Sonny" Crow Jr., Edwin Allison and Mary Goober.
