Obituary of Carol Faye Becker

Carol Faye Becker, age 79, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 25, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Rev. John Grohs will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Monday at the church. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family. Carol was born April 29, 1936 in Wisconsin Rapids to Joseph and LaVina (Sheiarer) LaBarge. She married Earl Becker on June 10, 1967 in Wisconsin Rapids; they were blessed with two sons. Earl passed away on May 2, 1990. Carol and her husband, Earl, were the caretakers of Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids for many years. Carol was also a housekeeper for several homes in the area. Carol was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She loved to cook and keep herself busy doing things outside. Carol and her son Brian enjoyed going to area flea markets. Carol is survived by her sons: Brian Becker and John Becker; sister, Dorothy Kariba; brother-in-law, Lavern (Delores) Becker; and sister-in-law, Mary (Howard) Freeberg. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Margaret and brother Don.
