Mary was born January 7, 1952 in Ridgeway, Pennsylvania to Arthur and Dorothy (Leader) Sprague. She was a 1969 graduate of Snowflake (Arizona) High School and later studied business management at Mid-State Technical College in Wisconsin Rapids. Mary worked as an executive assistant at Consolidated Papers Inc./Stora Enso for many years. She decided to partially retire in 2003 to live abroad in Sweden and later Uruguay with her husband, James, before moving back to the states in 2015. During this time, Mary and James created many memories together traveling throughout Europe and South America. Mary loved spending as much time as possible with her family and three grandchildren. She was also an avid animal lover, especially cats. She loved the holidays, Christmas being her favorite, and took great pride in decorating her house from top to bottom every year. Mary is survived by her husband, James; her children Arthur (Marissa) Rebischke and Jennifer (Robert) Estepe; step-children: Kara and Paul Biasca; "adopted" daughters Barb (Jason) Theisen and Karina Olivera; mother Dorothy Sprague; sisters: Beverly Sprague and Dottye (Michael) Oleson; grandchildren, Madelyn Estepe, Mara and Jack Rebischke; her beloved cats Austin, Sonny, Angel and Josie as well as many relatives and life-long friends. Her family and friends cherish her time with us and the happiness and joy she brought to all she knew and met. Her unending energy and compassion are and will always be a source of inspiration to all that knew her. In lieu of flowers, Mary's family request memorial donations be given to the South Wood County Humane Society, 3621 64th Street North, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494.
