Obituary of Margaret Mary Korbitz

Margaret Mary Korbitz, age 71, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Monday February 29, 2016 at her residence. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Herman-Taylor Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Margaret was born on October 12, 1944 in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Martin Sr. and Margaret (Lewis) Trieschmann. She married Terrance Korbitz on September 16, 1966 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI although the marriage ended in divorce they were blessed with two children. Margaret enjoyed crafting, painting ceramics and crocheting. She liked to go out to eat, enjoyed cooking and having picnics. Margaret loved to spend time with her family, friends and her dogs. She collected Coca-Cola memorabilia and liked to watch the home shopping network. Margaret is survived by her children: John (Janice) Korbitz and Shawna Korbitz Mead; grandchildren: Rachel Korbitz, Joshua, Samantha and Sara Kumm, Savanna Mead, John, Tabatha and James Droste, Angel Friday and Sarena (CJ) Jensen; great-grandchildren: Jaiden and Jordan Hamus, Greysen Mess, Sydni Miller, Dukeoda and Jazmine Droste, Julien Milroy, Adrianna and Ella Conley, Chase Friday, Ethan Allison, William Boyer and Theodore Droste; siblings: Charles (Katherine) Trieschmann, Geraldine (Donald) Seburg, James (Barbara) Trieschmann, Patrick Trischmann and Michael (Lin) Trieschmann as well as many nieces, nephews and fiends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Martin Trieschmann Jr., and sisters Theresa M. Trieschmann and Julia A. Trieschmann.
