Obituary of Gerald Ronald Kochevar

Kochevar, Gerald Gerald Ronald Kochevar, age 70, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at Strawberry Lane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. A celebration of Gerald's life will be held at a later date. Gerald was born on February 18, 1946 in Waterford, WI to Gerald and Marie (Buckett) Kochevar. Gerald graduated from Waukesha South High School in 1964.Gerald was a truck driver for several years. Gerald grew up with his cousins, spending much of his younger years on their farm. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking his sons fishing. Gerald always made it clear to all how much he loved his family and his special friend Cheryl. Gerald is survived by his daughter Renee Kluttermann; grandchildren: Colin, Madeline and Peter Kochevar; sister Theresa (John) Straka, niece Sara Straka, nephew Steven Straka, special friend Cheryl Berg and best friend Jim Russell. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Jerome Herman, sons: Nolan and Gary Kochevar and his brother Mike Herman.
