Obituary of Cecelia Ann Chariton

Cecelia Ann Charition, age 71, of Wisconsin Rapids, died Friday, March 11, 2016 at her residence. Private graveside services will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Wisconsin Rapids. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family. Cecelia was born October 3, 1944 in Marshfield, WI to Joseph and Elva (Pike) Chariton. She spent her first few years being raised on a farm near Marshfield before the family moved to Wisconsin Rapids. She attended Howe Elementary School and graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids. She then attended Mid-State Technical College and went on to work for Continental Life Insurance Co. in Milwaukee until her father's death, when she returned to Wisconsin Rapids. Cecelia then worked for Ore-Ida in the lab and fished her working career as a cashier at Ho-Chunk Casino in Nekoosa. Cecelia was a faithful member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids. She loved to watch TV, especially CSI. Cecelia is survived by three sisters: Shirley Kundert, Ann (Larry) Kundert, and Patricia (Roger) McKee; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Orville Chariton.
