Obituary of John Daniel Seebecker

John Daniel (Danny) Seebecker, 80, formerly of Wisconsin Rapids, Parker, AZ passed away on Friday, April 1, 2016 with his family at his side at Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas NV due to a chronic subdural hematoma. John was born on February 24, 1936 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Jack and Ruth (Larson) Seebecker. He married Arlene Cardo of Adams on May 25, 1957 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, IA. John was a proud union Journeyman Wiremen in the IBEW Local 388. He worked as a Construction Electrician throughout the United States until retiring April 1, 1998. After his retirement John and Arlene moved to Parker, AZ where John was deeply involved in the Verde West Four Wheelers and nothing interfered with Jeepin on Tuesdays. John also enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, a good game of cribbage for course more if he could skunk ya . John also in his early retirement enjoyed changing the US Flag on the top of Castle Rock by the Parker Dam. He was an avid Packers fan and also let you know that he was proud to be an NFL owner. He was always there for others and enjoyed helping anyone, even strangers. He was a great husband, father and family man. To know John was to know short sleeve plaid shirts, jean shorts and berkies. Some of his favorite sayings: in cribbage were "and under the big top & quit hauling timber", for Sheepshead "his queens were called mop squeezers and you can't take them to the prom", Whaaaaaaat, which meant he was guilty as sin but that made him sound innocent. He is survived by his wife, Arlene and their 2 daughters: Carol (Gary) Berna of Wisconsin Rapids, Cheri (Alex) Hartless of Corvallis, MT. His three grandsons Brandon (Tina) Berna of Saukville, WI, Colter and Cooper Hartless and his Great-grandchildren Caden and Callie (baby girl) Berna, other nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, sister Suzanne Iverson and nephew David Iverson. Simple Cremations of Las Vegas are assisting with cremation. John was also an organ donor. At this time we are planning a Celebration of Life for John sometime this summer in the Wisconsin Rapids, WI area. Online condolences may be expressed at www.taylorfuneralhome.net As we look into the night sky and see all the stars, pick the brightest one because this is the one that John just rewired to shine bright and show us the way. You will truly be missed by family and friends, but never forgotten. As John would say "Don't worry, I got ya covered" A special thank you to all the staff at Sunrise Hospital Neuro ICU in Las Vegas, NV. They took excellent care of John and words can't express our gratitude.
