Obituary of William F. Haske

William F. Haske Jr., age 84, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Monday April 4, 2016 at House of the Dove in Marshfield. William was born on December 22, 1931 in the Town of Rock now known as Pittsville, WI to William and Ada (Knapton) Haske. William served his country in the United States Marine Corps. William married Norma M. Klawitter on June 18, 1955. He was employed by the Wood County Highway Department. William was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, camping and snowmobiling. He enjoyed restoring old cars, snowmobiles and tractors. William was a handyman who knew how to fix almost anything. He and his wife Norma loved to travel, they visited 48 states and went to Europe twice. William is survived by his wife Norma, children: William (Wendy) Haske of Port Edwards, Tammy Jo (Harold) Ginter of Wisconsin Rapids, Todd (Brandi) Haske of Saukville; grandchildren: Reannon (Adam) Wiskerchen of Green Bay, Bradley (Ali) Meyer of Wisconsin Rapids, Jason Meyer of Chicago, Jacob Ginter of Fitchburg, Joe Haske of Saukville and Kyle Brabant of St. Paul; great-grandchildren: Evan, Issac and Eleanor Wiskerchen of Green Bay and sister Viola Maslowski of Marshfield. He was preceded in death by his parents Will and Ada, daughter Linda Meyer, parents-in-law Ted and Myrtle Klawitter, brothers-in-law Emil and Roy Klawitter and sister-in-law Iona Hansen. Per William's wishes there will be a private family service at a later date. Herman-Taylor Funeral Home is assisting the family.
